Valcor Moore: When Covid struck, my parents enrolled me in an online music production class to fill my days stuck at home. When the schools opened up again, I chose to stay home, and do distance education so I would have more time to work on my music. When the days are cold and short, I make music. When the days are long and hot, I make music. I am honored and excited to share my debut album release here on my beautiful island home at the Active/Passive Festival.
We're grateful to collaborate and produce on the shared, stolen, unceded, ancestral and traditional territories of Penelakut, Lamalcha, Hwitslum and other Hul’qumi’num speaking peoples, as well as the ceded territories of Tsawwassen First Nation, on what is now known as Galiano Island, British Columbia.
